Pedestrian Struck By Car in Middlefield
The accident occurred on Route 66 in Middlefield on Monday, Oct. 27.

Middletown resident Claudia Reed was struck by a car while walking on Meriden Road, aka Route 66, at approximately 10:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, WFSB reports.
She was walking in the Peters Lane area of Route 66 and sustained injuries to her head and lower part of her body, police told WFSB.
The driver was identified as Jackie Cunningham, 59. According to The Middletown Pressβ post on Facebook, the driver allegedly did not pass sobriety tests issued that night.
