Coginchaug's defense held a Hyde team that averaged 35 points in its first two games this season scoreless, in a 14-0 win Saturday in Durham. The Blue Devils struggled offensively, but managed to score two touchdowns. The first came when quarterback Tyler Doherty, who injured his shoulder in the game, scored on a 2-yard rush in the first quarter. Zev Kartiganer took a 22-yard pass from backup quarterback Tyler Meeker into the end zone in the third quarter.
