Projected Snow Totals In for Durham, Middlefield's Weekend Storm

Here is what the National Weather Service is predicting.

Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan says: β€œMidday European computer model shows a pretty substantial winter storm on Saturday [Jan. 24]. It will be a strong but compact system with a narrow band of heavy snow. Still too early to pin down exactly where that heavy snow will fall but it’s absolutely worth watching!”

Meteorologist Gil Simmons says: β€œI am holding steady on my thoughts for accumulating β€ͺsnow‬ forβ€ͺ β€ŽConnecticut‬ Saturday!”

Since the earlier report noting the possibility of six inches of snow, the National Weather Service updated its forecast with projected accumulation totals for the Saturday, Jan. 24, storm.
