Prominent Middlefield Property Sold: Report
The current home of Blackbird Tavern and other businesses has been sold to two new owners.
MIDDLEFIELD, CT — A well-known local property owned by the Fowler family has been sold, The Meriden Record-Journal reported. The property at 6 Way Road currently houses the Blackbird Tavern and other businesses.
The property has been in the Fowler family for decades and was sold for $1.625 million.
Two local friends—Sam Eddinger and Robert Boulanger—are the new owners. The new owners said they aren't planning any major changes.
