RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon Comes to the Lyman Orchards Sunflower Maze

WHAT: Look up in the sky. It’s a bird, it’s a plane! No, it’s the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon, “Big Max”! To raise money for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, RE/MAX is offering tethered balloon rides (weather permitting) in “Big Max” for a $5 donation.

WHERE: Lyman Orchards Sunflower Maze

WHEN: Sunday, August 9th and Sunday August 16th

Balloon rides beginning at 9 a.m.

WHY: Since partnering with CMN Hospitals in 1992, RE/MAX agents have raised more than $138 million for the charity’s 170 member hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. Across New England, more than $162,000 was donated in 2014 to hospitals including: Baystate Children’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center, and The University of Vermont Children’s Hospital.
