Rep. Altobello Appointed Assistant Deputy Speaker

State Representative Buddy Altobello (D - Middlefield, Rockfall & Meriden) has received his committee assignments for the 2017 Legislative Session by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Speaker of the House Joe Aresimowicz (D-Berlin/Southington) said, “The residents of Middlefield are fortunate to have such a hard-working, dedicated legislator representing their community. His passion and commitment to improving the quality of life for everyone in Connecticut sets a high standard and I look forward to working closely with Representative Altobello to meet the challenges we face ahead.”

“The committees I am serving on will feature prominently this session and, as Assistant Deputy Speaker, I am looking forward to productive months ahead as we work to address the important issues facing the state,” Rep. Altobello said.

In addition to being appointed Assistant Deputy Speaker, Altobello will serve on the Transportation, General Law and Finance Revenue and Bonding Committees.

Buddy Altobello represents the 82nd Assembly District in Meriden and Middlefield.
