RE: Porter World Trade Recalls Ron Jon Surf Shop Sippy Cup

Due to Violations of Federal Lead Content and Phthalates Bans Porter World Trade (PWT) is recalling 13.5 ounce Ron Jon Surf sippy cups with the main body of the cup in orange, blue, pink, or green. There is a rubber-like grip material around the cup. The rubber-like material has images of a turtle, crab, fish, boat, and sea grass with the RON JON SURF SHOP design. The product has UPC number 1082-0405 printed on the bottom of the product.

The sippy cups were sold at Ron Jon Surf Shops in Florida, South Carolina, and New Jersey in the following cities: Miami, Sunrise, Medley, Cocoa Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Panama City, Myrtle Beach, and Ship Bottom. The Stellarbay store located at the Tampa International Airport sold the $7 sippy cups from May 2014 through March 2020. Though this recall involves items not directly sold in Connecticut, residents who may have traveled to these cities should be informed.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled sippy cup away from children and contact PWT for instructions on how to return the product for a full refund.
