RSD17 School Budget to be Announced Tuesday

Superintendent Gary Mala will present the 2011-2012 Regional District 17 budget proposal to the Board of Education on Tuesday, March 1.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the in Higganum.

Following the presentation, school committees will review budget proposals. Two additional Community Input sessions will follow, on Monday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Haddad-Killingworth Middle School (Student Commons) and Monday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the RSD17 Central Office.

On Monday, April 11 the Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting and Annual Hearing on the proposed 2011-2012 school budget at 7 p.m. at Haddam-Killingworth Middle School (Student Commons).

The Annual Meeting on the 2011-2012 school budget will be held on Monday, May 2 at 7 p.m. at .

A referendum will be held Tuesday, May 3 in Haddam and Killingworth on the Board of Education's budget for the 2011-2012 school year.
