The Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit association dedicated to the success of small businesses, continues its year-round series of free Small Business Workshops with “How To Protect Your Business Risks.” What are the hidden but obvious exposures you face in business and how are you going to deal with these exposures in a cost effective manner? This workshop will look at these issues from the perspective of your home and personal property, your business assets, your employees, your retirement, and your cash flow. Avoiding some of the common causes of business failures is worth a few hours of your time. Learning how to deal with these threats can be implemented in a matter of hours - not weeks and months.
Workshop Presenter Brian Noe focuses on the small family business owner. His credentials include past experience growing businesses, an adjunct Professor of Economics at Central Connecticut State University and other institutions, and consulting as an economic analyst for business and government.
In addition, Brian has been a guest speaker at industry annual conventions and small business groups and writes articles for industry magazines. Brian’s goal is for you to be able to deal with our current economic cycle with education and facts, not guess and hope. We also want to protect you from unnecessary claims and lawsuits. The bottom line is to allow you to look forward to having a plan for success.
