Search Reportedly Continues For Missing CT Hiker

Arthur Williams has been missing since Saturday.

PLAINVILLE, CT — Sixty-four-year-old Arthur Williams has been missing since Saturday when he went for a hike near Metacomet Trail in Plainville, and authorities are continuing the search for him, reports WFSB-TV.

According to police, Williams was last seen on North Moutain Road in New Britain, heading west.

Police, with the help of K-9 officers, were searching wooded areas in Plainville Tuesday. Williams is an experienced hiker but was not carrying a cell phone, according to his family.

NBC Connecticut News reports that Williams was wearing a camouflage jacket and jeans, and he had a black backpack and poles or walking sticks.
