Soccer Club Awards Scholarships

Each year the Coginchaug Soccer awards up to four scholarships to Club members who are graduating high school.  The Club is pleased to announce the winners of the 2014 Coginchaug Scholarship: Tyler Kovacs, Lucas Fowler, Kasi Whitaker and Kimberley Romanoff.   

Tyler Kovacs was captain of the high school boys team, All Shoreline and played for the club for 13 years.  He will attend Western Connecticut University in the fall.  Lucas Fowler played on the high school team, FSC and played for the club for 13 years.  He will attend Florida Southern College in the fall.   

Kasi Whitaker and Kim Romanoff were part of the CSC high school class with the best record in school history.   Whitaker was captain of the CSC girls team, All Shoreline player and played for the club for 13 years.   She will attend Occidental College in the fall.  Romanoff was All Shoreline player and played for the club for 8 years.   She will be attending Vassar College in the fall.

All 4 were recognized as Scholar Athletes by CRHS.  A Scholar Athlete is one who is named to the honor roll during a varsity sports season.

Congratulations to the winners and all the CSC graduates in the class of 2014!   We wish you continued to success in the future.
