Suspect Robs Convenience Stores In Durham, Killingworth
Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed two convenience stores in a single night.

KILLINGWORTH, CT - Two convenience stores were recently robbed and the police believe a single suspect is responsible for the two crimes. According to police:
"On Wednesday 12/27/17, the Office of the Killingworth & Durham Resident State Trooper began a criminal investigation into two separate early morning robberies that occurred at Country Cloverleaf Gas Station (#237 Route 81, Killingworth) & Krauszer's Food Store (459 Madison Road, Durham).At approximately 5:09 am, the victim in the Cloverleaf parking lot was confronted by a lone white male in his 40's, wearing black gloves and a dark colored knit hat. The suspect got into a physical altercation with the victim and then left in a silver color sedan.At approximately 6:25 am the same suspect got into a physical confrontation with store clerk at Krauszer's Food Store in Durham. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes and then fled in a silver color sedan.
