Tobacco Free Parks & Playgrounds is a youth-led initiative.

Durham Middlefield Local Wellness Coalition is conducting a survey on tobacco use in our community, to gauge if community members would support a youth-led effort to implement tobacco free parks and playgrounds. If you have a few extra minutes, please take this brief, 12 question survey on tobacco use. Your voice matters.

Members of the youth leadership club, E.D.G.E. (Excellent Decision Guiding Everyday) at Strong Middle School and Coginchaug Regional High School are leading an initiative to limit to amount of tobacco and e-cigarette use in parks and playgrounds.
