For the first time ever, the Durham Fair Associationβs Redneck Arena is open for business.
βThe Durham Fair Redneck Games were created for teens and adults to have some zany, down-home fun,β the Durham Fair posted on Facebook. Read on for more info on the Redneck Arena.

- Redneck Costume Mug Shots
- Giant Jenga
- The Game of Stump
- Toilet Seat Horseshoes
- Bowling Ball Shot Put

- 3 p.m. Mud Pit Tug of War (teams of 5); Prize: Each team member gets $10 to Durham Wine and Spirits, $15 to the Durham Fair souvenir shop
- 5 p.m. Bobbing for Pigs Feet; Prize: $50 to Artieβs Bar & Grill

- 12:30 p.m.: Mud Pit Belly Flop Contest; Prize: $50 to Time Out Tavern, drink-dispensing football helmet
- 3:30 p.m. Hot Wings Eating Contest; Prize: 16 wings a week for a full year at Mattyβs Next Door in Middletown
