Town of Durham Releases Blizzard Info

Town of Durham Officials are monitoring the blizzard closely and have activated the Stormline at 860.343.6735. The below information was posted on the town of Durham website.

• For emergencies, dial 911 . The Durham Town Hall, Durham Public Library and Durham Activity Center will be closed on Tuesday, January 27 but phone lines will be monitored.

• Visit the Town’s website, Facebook page and Emergency Management Facebook page for updates. To watch a special storm report by Destination Durham, please click here.

• Be safe and heed all warnings. If you can, look out for your neighbors, especially those who are elderly or have special needs.

• Power Outage: Report directly to CL&P if you are without power: CL&P 1.800.286.2000

• Closings: All RSD 13 Schools, Town Hall Public Library, Durham Activity Center will be closed Tuesday

• Transfer Station: 860.349.8702 Closing at 5:30 Monday January 26.
