Tuscany Grill kicks off fall season with beer dinner

Five-course dinner pairs Tuscany Grill's cuisine with the beers of Back East Brewery.

MIDDLETOWN – Tuscany Grill will host its annual Fall Beer Dinner featuring Connecticut’s own Back East Brewery on Wednesday, Sept. 24 starting at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $49 per person, which includes sales tax and gratuity; reservations are required.
The 1st course pairs Back East’s Golden Ale with Fried Langostinos in a Pancetta Bowl with house-made cocktail sauce.
In keeping with the fall theme, the 2nd course consists of Pumpkin Bisque with Cinnamon Crème Fraiche and toasted pumpkin seeds, paired with Oktoberfest beer.
The 3rd course is a Green Leaf Lettuce Wrap filled with grilled chicken, orange segments, cherry tomatoes, red onions, carrots and vinaigrette made with Misty Mountain IPA, which is also the brew accompanying this course.
Tuscany Grill’s 4th course entrée is Coffee Encrusted Pork Tenderloin served with roasted root vegetables and a sweet potato/bacon hash, paired with Porter, a hearty beer.
The dinner concludes with a 5th course dessert of Apple Tartlets and Back East Ale, the brewery’s flagship beer.
