What are the stories we bring from childhood about the long ago birth of a baby named Jesus? There are so many across our lifetimes, and these account for a mere sprinkling of the stories that have sparked our wonder and imagination and impulses to celebrate the simple birth of a not so simple baby. Perhaps the myth lies in the notion of a single story, and the richness lies in the countless stories whose pages turn and turn and turn.
