Veterans - Honorary Captains at Coginchaug Football Game on Saturday

The Coginchaug Football Team honored two veterans at Saturday’s football game between the Coginchaug Blue Devils and Nonnewaug Chiefs. Tech Sergeant Derek Egerman and Staff Sergeant Andrew DiSilvestro met Captains Jake Ober, Josh Smith and Antonio Lockwood and proceeded out to the center of the field as honorary Captains for the coin toss.

We will be honoring another service member at the beginning of our Thanksgiving Day game at 10 am.
