Video Shows Attempted Car Break-In In Durham

State Police are investigating the incident.

DURHAM, CT — State Police are investigating an attempted car break-in in Durham from this weekend which occurred around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

"Here's another reminder to lock your car doors and keep valuables out of plain sight! Some suspects look for cars that are unlocked and easy to access. No smashing windows. No forced entry. No noise. Easy targets only," State Police said.

Other suspects (like the one in this video) look for cars that are either unlocked or have valuables in plain sight, State Police said.

"They’ll risk making noise and smashing a window if valuables are in plain sight and easy to access," State Police said.
