Woman Arrested for Drunk Driving in Durham

State Police arrested a 32-year-old woman for drunk driving early Sunday morning.

Ortenzia Romeo of Rocky Hill crashed into a house on Mauro Drive at 2:31 a.m. while pulling out of a driveway. She crossed the road and drove into the house across the street, according to State Police Sgt. Sal Calvo.

No injuries were reported and Romeo has no recollection of the incident. Her car sustained heavy damage on the passenger front side, indicating she drove into the house head first.

Romeo was brought to Troop F in Westbrook for processing and faces a DUI charge.
