• East Windsor man charged with DUI in motorcycle crash that injured two, police say (ctpost.com) — A motorcyclist from East Windsor has been charged with DUI after a high-speed crash on Route 2 in East Hartford injured both him and his passenger. State police say he was weaving through traffic before striking a median guardrail, ejecting both riders. The passenger’s injuries were not life-threatening, and the rider now faces multiple charges and a court date in Manchester.
   

• 3 Connecticut business owners arrested for alleged workers' comp violations (wtnh.com) — An East Hartford construction business owner has been charged with failing to carry required workers’ compensation insurance after an employee was injured, triggering more than $25,000 in state fund payouts. Two other Connecticut business owners in Middletown and Westport face similar noncompliance or fraud charges. All three were released on $10,000 non-surety bonds while their cases proceed.
