• East Hampton girl dies after falling off paddle board at CT pond, official says (ctpost.com) — A 15-year-old girl from East Hampton died Sunday after an apparent medical emergency caused her to fall from a paddle board into Crystal Pond in Eastford. State environmental police say a good Samaritan pulled her from the water, and she was taken to Day Kimball Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The incident remains under investigation by EnCon Police.
