Child Pulled From CT River In Cromwell
Crews pulled a child from the Connecticut River on Monday night, according to a report.

CROMWELL, CT — A child was pulled from the Connecticut River on Monday evening. The child's condition is unknown as are details of the incident.
Portland fire officials told FOX 61 that they pulled a child from the river while providing mutual aid for a Cromwell Fire Department rescue call. The child was transported to Middlesex Hospital.
A car accident occurred on nearby Route 9 near exit 25 at 5:20 p.m., NBC CT reported. Police arrived and found an unoccupied vehicle.

Authorities found two people about two hours later east of Route 9 in the Connecticut River, according to NBC CT. Crews rescued the two people who were taken to local hospitals.
It's unclear if the people rescued from the river were involved in the accident.
