East Hampton Parks and Recreation Seeks Participants for Trunk or Treat Event

Trunk or Treat provides a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween with the whole family.

EAST HAMPTON, CT – The Parks and Recreation department is looking for individuals and groups to host car trunks at this year's Trunk or Treat event.

The department said on Facebook the Trunk or Treat provides a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween with the whole family. Children will participate by going from trunk to trunk to receive candy from costumed car owners.

All cars are welcome, but are asked to pre-register with East Hampton Parks and Recreation. Attendees are also invited to head over to Epoch Arts afterwards and experience the Haunted House.

Those who participate are registering to park their vehicle at the Trunk or Treat event and distribute candy to guests. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Center School.
