East Hampton Town Council Looking to Create New Town Hall, Police Station
The Town Council has begun the steps toward building a new police station and town hall.

EAST HAMPTON, CT – The Town Council is looking for land to use for a new town hall and police station, the Middletown Press reported.
The council voted unanimously last week to solicit proposals for land, according to the Middletown Press. They have also begun setting up the appointment of a building committee.
The current town hall and police station complex has exceeded its usable life, and town officials have said it no longer meets the requirements for a 21st century municipal building, the Middletown Press reported. Residents are urged to sign up for the new building committee.
