Group Urges Town to Preserve East Hampton School House
The building is a two-floor red-brick school, built in the Colonial Revival style.

EAST HAMPTON, CT - A group of East Hampton residents are pushing for the preservation of Middle Haddam School, the Middletown Press reported.
The group is urging town officials to renovate the school and put it to use as a municipal facility, according to the Middletown Press. The renovations would require the town to spend between $2 million to $5 million.
The school, located on Schoolhouse Lane, was closed in the 1980’s due to declining enrollment, the Middletown Press reported. The building is a two-floor red-brick school, built in the Colonial Revival style.
