Nearly $46 Million Budget Hearing Delayed for East Hampton
The East Hampton Board of Finance had previously proposed a $45.96 million budget for the 2017-18 calendar.

EAST HAMPTON, CT - East Hampton leaders are waiting for more information on state revenues to vote on a budget, the Middletown Press reported.
The Board of Finance had previously proposed a $45.96 million budget for the 2017-18 calendar, according to the Middletown Press. The hearing has now been postponed for at least a week in hopes of getting a clearer picture of projected state revenues.
In further budget news, residents will be able to vote separately on the general government and education portions of the budget this year, according to the Middletown Press. This the first time East Hampton residents will be able to do so.
