• Mosquitoes in Hebron test positive for West Nile Virus (thechronicle.com) — Mosquitoes in nearby Hebron have tested positive for West Nile virus, prompting health officials who also serve East Hampton to warn residents that risk will continue until a hard frost. The Chatham Health District urges people, especially those over 60, to limit outdoor time at dawn and dusk, use repellant, wear protective clothing, and check window and door screens.
