• Tree Worker Hospitalized After Being Struck By Falling Branch In East Hampton (patch.com) — Emergency crews in East Hampton responded to Wopowog Road after a tree worker was struck in the face by a large falling branch while a crew was trimming trees with a bucket truck. The injured worker, part of an Asplundh Tree Service crew, suffered severe facial bleeding and was transported by East Hampton Ambulance Association to Hartford Hospital, while OSHA was notified and headed to the scene.
