Ranger Finds Emaciated Dog Abandoned At East Hampton Park: Report
East Haddam Animal Control found a dog abandoned at Hurd State Park in East Hampton on Friday afternoon.
EAST HADDAM, CT — East Haddam Animal Control found a dog abandoned at Hurd State Park in East Hampton on Friday afternoon, FOX 61 reported. A ranger found the dog, who was in an emaciated condition, at around 3:30 p.m.
The dog's age is unknown because she is in such poor condition.
Animal control officers brought the dog, a gray pit bull, to a veterinary hospital for care.

The case is under investigation, according to FOX 61.
The group Desmond's Army Animal Law Advocates is offering a $3,000 reward in the case for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible.
