Urgent Plea From East Hampton: Bruno the Dog Needs a New Home

Shelter Connecticut received an urgent plea from a follower who said their son needs to re-home one of his dogs. The woman’s son has a back injury and cannot care for Bruno.
“He is selling his home and coming to live with us,” the woman wrote. “I cannot have a dominant dog in my house with five dogs already. Bringing one more in my house will be an adjustment. This is a very hard decision, as Bruno is a love.”
She continued:

“Bruno needs someone that will spend a lot of time exercising him. He will need to be the only pet.”

- About 3 years old, about 60 lbs.
- No young children due to his rambunctiousness
- Up-to-date on vaccinations
- Knows some commands
- Rescued from Hartford Shelter with a rope tied around his leg so tight he has a scar
- Located in East Hampton, CT
