Charlie, the Cat, That Was Tossed From a Window in East Haven Has a New Home
East Haven Animal Shelter officials shared the good news on their Facebook page that Charlie has been adopted.

Good news regarding Charlie the cat that someone tossed from a truck window in East Haven on Monday.
Via the East Haven Animal Shelter Facebook page:
“We are very happy to announce that Charlie has been adopted!!! Thank you to everyone who cared and sent good wishes to him! Not only that, but someone who stopped by to see Charlie will be adopting Ricky!!!”

East Haven Animal Shelter staff say via their Facebook page that someone threw a cat from a truck window but someone who watched the incident found him, and brought him to the shelter Monday afternoon.

It appears the cat was not injured and now needs a new, loving home, animal shelter staff say.
“We have no explanation for this, but for some reason someone threw this handsome boy from a truck window - luckily someone saw this and scooped him up,” the shelter’s staff wrote on Facebook.
“We are calling him Charlie and he is GREAT!! Charlie is friendly and affectionate and full of personality, and did we mention how good looking he is too? We think he’s 5-6 years old, and he would love a new home with people who will love and appreciate him.”
In less than an hour there were more than 20 comments from East Haven residents on the shelter’s Facebook page.
Teresa Sirico wrote, “We need stronger laws to protect our animals. Have no fear, the the offender will comeback in the next life as a mouse.”
Susan Kazanjian wrote, “Threw him from a window? Shame on them! He looks ike a beautiful, good boy.”
Donna Perrone EA, wrote, “Where did this happen? This just appalls me to hear this kind of abuse to animals.”
