DNA Helps Cops Charge East Haven Man with Burglary, Larceny at Woodbridge Deli
Police were able to allegedly link him to the crime with DNA evidence, authorities said.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A 25-year-old East Haven man was arrested on a warrant last week on burglary and larceny charges in connection with a May smash-and-grab burglary at the Amity Meat Center on Lucy Street in Woodbridge, according to police.
James Palumbo was charged on Dec. 13 with third-degree Burglary, fourth-degree Larceny and Criminal Mischief, police said.
He stands accused of throwing a bench through a window at the deli and stealing a cash register drawer, and police were able to allegedly link him to the crime by DNA from blood evidence he left at the scene, reports the New Haven Register. He is a former employee of the deli.
