East Haven Announces Election and Veteran's Day Schedule
The Town's trash and recycling pick-up will not be affected by either closing.

From The Town of East Haven: All Town offices will be closed on Tuesday November 6th and Monday November 12th in observance of Election Day and Veterans’ Day (November 11).
The East Haven Veterans Council has announced that this year’s Veterans Day ceremonies will take place on Sunday November 11th, at the War Memorial on the East Haven Town Green beginning at 11:00 am.
At 10:45 am, the Veterans and various Town and State officials will be leaving American Legion Post 89 on Thompson Avenue and will proceed down Main Street to the Town Green to render Honors.

All veterans are invited to attend the service and take part in the walk to the Town Green. Of course, the public is encouraged to attend. Following the ceremony, all will be invited to the American Legion Post 89 Hall on Thompson Avenue for coffee.
The Town’s trash and recycling pick-up will NOT be affected by either closing and will be collected on their regular collection days.
