East Haven Farmer's Market Opens Sunday

Come Sunday, there will be no need to travel very far for fresh, locally grown goods. The will open this Sunday at 9 a.m.

The outdoor market will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Sunday from July 10 through Oct. 2 in the parking lot at , 250 Main St. 

The farmer's market features local fruit, vegetables and flowers along with artisanal breads, baked goods and other locally-produced foods. Organizers even say a massage therapist will be on hand to provide a stress-free shopping experience.
