East Haven Fireworks-Beach Party Details Announced
The celebration will be held on Saturday, June 27 and will be the largest display in the town's history.

The Vietnam Veterans-Chapter 484 and the Town of East Haven will be celebrating the 15th year Anniversary of its annual Independence Day celebration- Fireworks-Beach Party 2015!
Accordingly, the VVA and Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr. have announced that this year’s special 15th Annual Fireworks/Beach Party celebration will be held on Saturday June 27th with the largest Fireworks show in the Town’s history.

In addition, to help celebrate this year’s anniversary show, the evening will be featuring the nationally acclaimed musical entertainment of “The Bronx Wanderers”! Having appeared at two previous Fall Festivals, the thousands in attendance have each time asked for their return and through our sponsors’ generosity, the Fireworks Committee is pleased to be able to bring them back for this special celebration. Platinum Sponsors for this year’s event are: PMA Companies; David McDermott Auto Group; Quality Associates of East Haven and Stop & Shop Supermarket.
The festivities will once again include another fun-filled day of food, music and live entertainment, which will begin at 12 noon and continue right up to launch time (approximately 9 pm). The Bronx Wanderers will be beginning approximately at 7:30 pm, leading right up to this year’s pyrotechnic spectacular. The rain date will be Monday June 29th, which will only feature beach music followed by the main act and fireworks beginning at 7:30 pm. WPLR-FM 99.1 will be on the town beach adding to the entertainment.

A limited number of food vendors and concessionaires will be in the immediate area. Food will also be available from the Sandpiper and Beachhead Restaurants, both of which are located on Cosey Beach Avenue.
As a reminder, street access to the beach will be limited beginning at 10 am. Cosey Beach Avenue will be closed from the intersection of Second Avenue to Philips Street. Similarly, Coe Avenue will be closed from the Bradford Street intersection to the beach. The East Haven Police Department will be posting notices and directing motorists in and around the general vicinity of the town beach.
