East Haven High School Band Director Resigns, Takes Guilford Job
Matt Laudano led the school band to 5 CT, 4 New England and 1 national championship. He'll be band director at Adams Middle School.
EAST HAVEN, CT - Matt Laudano, who led the East Haven High School Band to five state championships, four New England championships and a national championship, resigned his post and is headed to Guilford.
His resignation was formally accepted by the East Haven Board of Education last month.
In a Facebook post, Laudano described his 13 years as an East Haven music teacher as an “amazing and rewarding experience.”

The music educator, conductor and band leader said that beginning this fall, he’ll be “joining the Guilford Public Schools music team as the new band director at Adams Middle School.”
So it’s help wanted at East Haven High School for a new music teacher and band director.
