East Haven July 4th Fireworks: What You Need To Know About Sunday Show
Time, location, parking, road closures, and more to know about Sunday's East Haven Independence Day 20th annual fireworks and beach party.
EAST HAVEN, CT —The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 484 20th annual East Haven fireworks will be held on Sunday, June 26 with a rain date Monday, June 27. The event sponsored by the veteran's group and the town of East Haven, begins with a day-long beach party at the Town Beach on Cosey Avenue.
East Haven police want folks to be aware of road closures, redirection, parking, and other traffic-related plans for the event.
"As in past years, this event will create traffic issues. Please see the attached map of the affected area which details temporary changes to road directions of travel," police wrote.

"We are asking our residents to have patience, as getting to and from the area on the evening of the 26th might involve heavy traffic and delays," police said.

The 20th annual Fireworks/Beach Party celebration at the Town Beach on Cosey Avenue, will include a day of food, music and live entertainment beginning at noon and continuing up to fireworks launch time, around 9:15 p.m.
