Former New Haven Cop, Now East Haven Cop On Leave In Porn Videos Probe
East Haven officer Paul Cavalier is on paid leave after an "off-duty" matter has led to an internal affairs investigation, police said.
EAST HAVEN, CT — A retired New Haven cop, now an East Haven officer, is under an internal East Haven police investigation, and was placed on leave pending the outcome of an "off duty matter."
Patch obtained links to online pornographic sites that appear to depict Paul Cavalier in adult videos under pseudonyms.
WFSB reported on Twitter that "multiple sources tell us there are videos of him posted on a porn site."

“We have been made aware of an off-duty matter involving Officer Paul Cavalier," East Haven Police Department Chief Edward Lennon said. "He was placed on administrative leave and is the subject of an internal affairs investigation, consistent with the collective bargaining agreement."
A former longtime New Haven officer, Cavalier was sworn in as an East Haven cop in May 2021.
