Jump For Joy: Adrenaline Rush Grand Opening, Ribbon-Cutting Saturday
The first 15 jumpers age 3-16 get a free 30-minute jump, free T's and a photo opp at the new Foxon Road trampoline park, Saturday at 11 a.m.
EAST HAVEN, CT —They had a soft opening last week, but Saturday it's the grand opening and local officials, including East Haven Mayor Joseph A. Carfora, will be on hand for the ribbon cutting.
Adrenaline Rush Trampoline Park at 709 Foxon Road is located on the site of the former Rockin' Jump venue. A recreation center that includes trampoline basketball, dodgeball, jousting, and a ninja course, opens its doors at 11 a.m.
The first 15 jumpers, ages 3 to 16, will get a free 30-minute jump, free T-shirt and a media photo opp. The next 50 guests to arrive get $5 off their jump time or a membership purchase.

Closed on Mondays, the trampoline park is Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Adrenaline Rush Trampoline Park offers timed jumping options as well as hosting parties. Parties will likely be a big draw, and it's taking reservations now.

And it has a full concession with a talented chef, they said.
Who is behind Adrenaline Rush?
The owner is Chuck Elrick. He spent the first five years of his career teaching K-5 physical education in Monroe, but is best known for his successful 39 years teaching swimming, diving, and water polo at the Hopkins School in New Haven. "Chuck now looks to return to his roots by helping children stay active while still having fun," son Brendan Elrick said.
Speaking of Brendan, he's the face of the business as the marketing manager. His job is to create fun events, create customer deals and promotions, run the businesses social media and "generally spreading the word" about the park.
At Adrenaline Rush, jumpers can do Trampoline Dodgeball and/or Basketball, try a Ninja Course, or how about a Jousting pit?
Trampoline Dodgeball
Bounce, throw, and dodge. Two teams, with up to 6 people on each team, face off in this exciting take on the classic game. An activity that offers fun for all ages.
Ninja Course
Live out your dreams of jumping across rooftops, scaling tall buildings, and proving your strength in our thrill-seeking ninja course. Test yourself to reach the end, keep improving your speed, and prove your potential as a ninja warrior.
Trampoline Basketball
Ever wanted to dunk like a pro? Here’s your chance! Show off your moves in a way you can only do at Adrenaline Rush. Not to mention: we offer two courts. So bring a friend and you can go head-to-head to show off all you’ve learned.
Jousting Pit
Battle against friends and family to keep your spot as King, Queen, or Monarch of the Balance Beam. To keep your royal position, you must stay on your feet and fight! Do you have what it takes to be victorious, or will you fall into the dreaded foam pit?
