Mayor: Town Buildings On 2-Hour Delay Due To Weather

EAST HAVEN, CT — With icy roads making travel treacherous, Mayor Joe Carfora announced that town buildings will operate on a two-hour delay. That means that Town Hall, for example, will not open until 10:30 a.m.

"After consultation with our public safety personnel and public works we have decided that a 2 hour delay for Town Hall is appropriate.

If possible stay off the roads. If you must drive give yourself some extra time and proceed with extreme caution. Thank you."
