More Details Released on East Haven School Consolidation Plans
If one school closes at the end of the year, it will have an impact on a few other schools also.

School officials have endorsed a school consolidation plan that would result in D.C. Moore School closing at the end of the year.
But that move will set off a domino effect, and the New Haven Register details what might happen if the plan receives final approval.
The district’s pre-K programs would be moved to Overbrook School, which would make that an all preschool facility.

Students that normally attend Overbrook would instead go to Tuttle School and students from D.C. Moore would go to Momauguin School, the Register reports.
No official action has been taken yet. The consolidation plan if approved would save taxpayers about $1 million.
