Kimberly Lee Sher Payne, 40 of East Haven died suddenly at her home on Thursday, July 6, 2017. Kimberly was born in Milford on September 14, 1976, a daughter of Ross and Margaret Beverly DeGraff Sherr of East Haven.

She had resided in East Haven for the past eighteen years, and previously had resided in West Haven for many years. In addition to her parents, Kimberly is survived by two daughters, Deziree Elise Payne and Dorothy Eva Payne, both of East Haven, and five brothers, Nathan D. Sher of New Haven, Charles "Chuck" Sher and his wife Dina of Little Rock, AR, Jonathan Sher and his wife Cecelia of Bridgeport, Richard Sher and his wife Nikki Correia of Branford, and James Francis Sher and his wife Angie of Albany, NY. She was predeceased by one sister, Nancy Ann DeColti.
