Obituary: Louis J. Pisaturo 94, of East Haven
An operating engineer for Local 478, he loved gardening and cutting grass on his John Deere tractor, which he drove to the Gates of Heaven.
Louis J. Pisaturo 94, of East Haven beloved husband of the late Nancy Arcangelo Pisaturo passed away on February 4, 2024 surrounded by his family at his daughter’s home in Rhode Island. Loving father of Frances (Kevin) Holt of Rhode Island and the late Joseph Pisaturo. Louis is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Carmel Vaspasiano, Mary Euskolitz and Joseph Pisaturo. Louis was born in West Haven on June 7, 1929 son of the late Joseph and Frances Manganella Pisaturo.
Prior to his retirement Louis was an operating engineer for Local 478. Louis loved gardening, cutting grass on his John Deere tractor and he drove his tractor to the Gates of Heaven.

His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven SATURDAY morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call FRIDAY from 5pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org.
