Susan Boswell Lesco, 72, of East Haven passed away July 30, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Walter P. Lesco, a daughter, Michele Lesco Mason of New Haven, a son, Walter “Butch” Lesco, Jr. of Branford, grandchildren Kayla Gentile, Brooke, Jordan and Luciana Mason and a great grandson Jaxon Sams. She is also survived by brothers William Boswell of Tennessee, Robert Boswell of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Burke Boswell and was predeceased by a brother Thomas Boswell. Sue was the Matriarch of her family, she adored her husband, children, grandchildren and her great grandson. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Yankees, Giants and working in her garden.

Prior to her retirement in 2010 Sue worked for the United Illuminating Co. for 22 years.Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Thursday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
