Several Students Injured In East Haven Bus Incident
A bus had an antifreeze issue that injured several students.
EAST HAVEN, CT — Several students are being treated for minor injuries after an issue with antifreeze on a school bus that was carrying the East Haven High School girls volleyball team.
Antifreeze combusted and filled the bus with smoke around 8:15 p.m., according to a statement from the high school. The bus was evacuated through the rear.
East Haven firefighters responded to the scene. All student athletes are accounted for.
