$10 Yoga. Because GOOD yoga shouldn’t cost more than your yoga pants.
Through your yoga practice at Elm City Wellness you will gain a secure foundation enabling you to safely come into greater alignment.
We use a hands on approach to further your healing, increasing your sense of awareness and your relationship to body, breath, mind and spirit. We do not ascribe to any one style of yoga. Our classes draw upon many different yogic traditions and styles, which, in combination with our small class sizes, allows us to provide accessible instruction through personalized modifications and hands on assists while still fostering a sense of community.

As with all classes at Elm City Wellness, our yoga instruction is aligned with our philosophy.
We come from a place of compassion and human connection. We are a learning center. Every class is structured with an intention for healing and cultivating greater peace, relaxation and energy. We are focused on educating students to have a greater understanding of how to tune into the body’s innate intelligence and ability to heal.

Mondays with Melissa:
5:45-6:45pm Flow and Form Yoga
Tune into the body and the breath as you transition through poses in a YogaSpirit™ vinyasa-inspired practice. Focus on connecting breath to movement as you flow gracefully between asana. Cultivate awareness of your body and form in the poses. Hands on assists and verbal cues are given to enhance alignment and safety. Build upon a stable foundation to support you as you grow and deepen your yoga practice. All levels welcome.
7:00-8:00pm Rest and Relax Yoga
Reconnect with your body’s natural intelligence to heal itself as you are guided through restorative postures. Props are used to hold supported poses for 5-15 minutes each so that they promote rest, renewal and relaxation. You will be guided through mindful breathing as well as loving kindness meditation while you restore. This hour of restorative yoga is said to have the same benefits of three hours of sleep and will promote restful sleep.
Fridays with Lisa:
6:30-7:30pm Contentment Yoga
You are perfect just the way you are. In contentment yoga we focus on getting in touch with that place of indestructible well being that resides in all of us. We offer a unique blend of hatha yoga combined with insights from positive psychology and philosophy to help build wellness into your life. This style is designed for practitioners who are looking for the perfect workout to strip away the stress at the end of a busy week and start the weekend out right.
Saturdays with Wendy:
8:00-9:00am Soundtrack Saturdays Yoga
Inviting one-hour celebration of the many faces, moods and influences in modern yoga with supported openings and thoughtful pacing set to different musical genres each week!
Saturdays for the Kids with Mallory:
9:15-10:00 am Storytime Yoga
Act out and explore classic kids stories through yoga! A great way to introduce your child to yoga in a fun and relaxed environment!
10:15-11:00 am Super Hero Yoga
Dress as your favorite super hero or come as you are and join us for a new yoga adventure each week! We will focus on practicing balance, creative expression and group poses while engaging stories, songs, and puppets to exercise social, sensory, and motor skills to increase flexibility.
