3 Charged in Ellington Road Rage Incident

State police said they also found drugs on some of the combatants.

ELLINGTON, CT — Three men are facing criminal charges after a road rage incident in Ellington, state police said.

The incident took place at 10 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Upper Butcher Road and Longview Street, state police said.

State police released the warrants this week.

The call first came in as a accident and subsequent altercation, but further investigation revealed that the crash was intentional during a road rage incident, according to a warrant.

Cocaine and marijuana were located at the scene, according to a warrant.

Arrested were:

  • Ryan Moeremans, 31, of Jeffrey Alan Road, Manchester, for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Edwin Galarza, 38, of Forbes Street, East Hartford, for possession of a controlled substance.
  • James Frazier, 27, of Prospect Street, Vernon, for driving a vehicle with the intent to harass or intimidate, unsafe movement, breach of peace and second-degree reckless endangerment.
