The Ellington Farmers' Market will kick off the summer season with a "Name the Calf Contest" on opening day May 4th from 9-12 in Arbor Park. A $50 market certificate will be awarded for the winning entry. The calf, along with a variety of other barnyard animals, will be visiting the market for the Barnyard Babies theme. Names for the calf can be entered at the market and selected entries will be posted on the Ellington Farmers' Market facebook page for voting. The winner will be announced May 11th.
