ELLINGTON, CT — An Ellington resident recently cashed in on a CT Lottery scratch ticket worth $10,000.

Lee Owen won the 5-figure prize in the 30X Cash 9th Edition game on a ticket purchased at Big Y World Class Market on Route 83. The winnings were claimed Tuesday, according to the CT Lottery website.

The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
